The project consists of a feasibility study for the modernization of the existing Bucuresti Titan CHPP. The proposed solution refers to the dismantling of the existing steam turbine and to the installation of a new unit, based on a gas turbine with heat recovery boiler, with 13.5 MWe/23 MWt.

Industrial cogeneration for SC Sicomed SA pharmaceutical factory
The project is part of development programme funded by the Romanian-American Enterprise Fund dedicated to increase energy efficiency for industrial consumers. The project refers to complete design of a new 110/20 kV substation for new supply in Constanta Harbour, including corresponding extensions in existing HV grid substations in the area. The newly designed installations are modern, based on 110 kV SF6 insulated switchgear and centralised digital control and protection system.

Guides on energy efficiency and associated training package for Romanian local authorities
Under an EU funding, Tractebel Engineering (Romania) elaborated handbooks on energy efficiency and provided a complementary training package for Romanian Local Authorities dealing with energy issues. The guides include legislation, technical aspects and project financing. The training consisted in a friendly software based on relevant questions extracted from the handbooks.

Consultancy for Ramnicu Valcea Municipality to reorganize the district heating activity in the town is provided. The tasks fulfilled within the project refer to assessment of investment needs for improvement of the system, assessment of environmental impact, consultancy on activity restructuration, project due diligence, communication with local authorities, etc.
